Our fishermen in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania

From our fishermen, for you - we

Our coastal fishermen in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania all have a passion for fishing, a love of the sea and hard work on the water. And yet none is like the other.

These men are unique specimens of a species that appears to be threatened with extinction. And yet they manage to survive with a lot of enthusiasm, diligence and ingenuity. Coastal fishermen from the different regions of our Baltic Sea coast will tell you how, on behalf of all of their colleagues who go out to sea with you every day.

Martin Sager
Ostseeküste Mecklenburg

Firmly rooted in home

Wismar. When Martin Sager brings his catch from the cutter to his own food truck in oil tools and heavy boots and eats a fish roll on the way back, hardly anything creates more confidence in the quality and freshness of his goods. His fishing boat is right on the quay of the old wooden port of Wismar. Martin Sager is a child of the eighties. Born in Wismar in 1978, the city has always been his home port, where he lives in a small village just outside with wife Kati, daughter Lina and son Ben Ole.
